'impedance match'

Your question puzzled me but it got me to thinking about this. If you OT has the 4, 8, and 16 ohm taps and you've wire up all the secondary taps to individual jacks. What are the consequences of plugging in an 8 ohm speaker into the 8 ohm jack and a 16 ohm speaker into the 16 ohm jack at the same time? My gut tells me this is a huge no-no. Is my guy right?
