Thanks for the comments. I've been told i'm not always that clear with things so no problem with the little mix up there!

I hadn't considered some of the things you mention regarding switching half the tube off. I think for now I'll skip that part and just wire it up to use both halves of the tube. I'm going to leave R7 in place in case I want to switch to an EL84 tube later.

Now I need to place everything on the chassis, I'm using a different size than what's suggested and am planning on putting it into a combo cabinet that I also have to build...
