Years ago I had a Peavey Heritage amp. It was one of Peavey's VTX series.
There was a phase shifter in the VTX series that had a "Pull Set". When the knob was push in it operated like a typical phase shifter. When it was pulled out it would disengage the LFO and allow me to set the amount of phase manually and the tone would no longer sweep along with LFO.
One day the bass player was fiddling with the amp while I was playing and he started moving the control around and varying the phase manually. I thought it would be interesting if I could hook that control up to a pedal and control phase the way we control wah and volume.
Does such a pedal exist? Or do I have to build one? :o)
