'Bench Supply for Preamp Heaters'

I would like to connect my bench supply to the preamp heaters. The supply provides + and - outputs and has, of course a ground. Should I connect the ground to chassis and the + output to pins 4&5 with the - output to pin 9? Should the power transformer high voltage center tap be lifted to avoid ground loops? Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you
