If you are using amplitube on a computer or something, make sure you have a high impedance input into your interface. -- The audio interface has only line level input, so it works well only with active pickups, so for guitars with passive pickups I use a first generation line6 pod (which as an unprocessed line level output) and route the guitars signal through it (i.e. guitar=>pod(unprocessed)=>audiointerface). The reason in doing that is that amplitube usually sounds better than a first generation pod. (Pod sounds overly filtered for some reason - probably newer ones are better but since amplitube is free who cares:-) ) Kursad |
