Thanks James and Paul too, for some reason I couldn't see your posts earlier. You've put me at ease a bit with orientation. As I said I'm thinking of mounting on the front panel with the OT in the middle so it will keep from the 2 ends, and a toroidal PT with its axis pointing up which should keep minimal noise, and apparently the output transducer is more noise sensitive than the drive tranducer, so that would be nearer the PT. sounds about right? |
