I only know the current DC-10 Kit design. i don't know what changes he made to the el84 daisycutter or other versions. I'm also not sure about how randy thinks about his schematics beeing posted somewhere in forums, though he sent me the DC-10 schematic when i asked for input just like that ;) i guess i can say this: The Mean Mode of my current version is pretty close to the DC-10. the DC-10 doesn't use a cathode follower but a fourth stage after the tone stack and some higher voltages. @Asdain: Just out of curiosity, I have been building the daisycutter and love the tone that I get with it, but what updates did Randy make to the design that differ from the one posted. If you don't feel comfortable sharing that information, I understand and can ask Randy himself, just didn't want to bother him being as he is pretty busy. -- |
