Hey Surfsup!! Ground connections are all tight. I think I may have found a suspect, look at this picture... [link] That's the shielded wire for G1, hard to tell from the picture but it looks like I've gotten too close to the eyelet with the shielding. Kind of makes me start thinking that I started getting my Judas Priest on lately and have been diming the gains (I love this amp) and this problem started again. Sound likely to you? I've just had a tough time with fixes / mods and keeping that mogami wire in place. I've busted the volume one 2x already and I sort of remember having to re-do this exact connection that's in the picture. Unfortunately.. I cant test out my theory for a day or so.. have kids and my window of opportunity to make noise is very small :-) Cheers! |
