I know Surfsup had an issue similar to this and was able to tackle it with star grounding. My problem was related to a hum that would not go away. The star grounding solved that 100% and now my amp produces just a slight amount of hiss with everything dimed. Its quite a quiet circuit. This problem sounds completely different like someone is shorting a wire. I agree with the others, something sounds loose, like a bad solder joint. Have any of your ground connections come loose at the chassis? |
