I didn't even notice all that other stuff going on in the 900 schem! That is weird about the fuse being after the OT center-tap. Maybe it's a mistake in the drawing???
Yeah, I think it may be wise and economical for me to use a single cathode fuse for each pair, especially since I won't be using individual bias controls for each tube. Does a T1A sound about right, or do I need to keep it at T500mA so the fuse will still pop if just one tube runs away?
I was also trying to figure out how to add 1R current sense resistors for bias monitoring along with the fuse/LED/ resistor combo. Would I just put them in series between the cathode and fuse?
And here's an MOV I think will be suitable for the each half-primary, but I'm not sure if there's too much voltage headroom. [link]
