Looking through the web, i found a lot of designs that can drive 4 or more kt88 to full power without distorting too much, with only 3 triodes in the preamp (mostly 2xecc81 or 2xecc83 and an ecc82). I was wondering witch configuration they can have used to do so. Here the links, but didn't find any schematics. The first is awesome. [link] [link] [link] Have any clue? Anyway.. meanwhile i was waiting for some tubes, i tried to put an 12ay7 at the first stage in caschode configuration. Sounds good to me |
