Thanks Merlin. R18 and R19 are equal at the moment simply because I typed in the same values. I just haven't changed them yet. I'd actually thought about feeding them to opposite sides of the PI, but like the extra gain from having the other input fully bypassed/coupled/groundified? not sure of the word I'm looking for at the moment. It's been a long week. thinking isn't my forte at the moment. R20 right now is a total guess at 470k. I'll probably go with R18 at 470k and R19 at 220k and adjust from there. Maybe I should socket them like I do for trannies/caps on the effects builds. :-) I'm doing up a rough layout right now for a 6.5"x20"x2.5" 18-watt-combo style chassis. I've already got it. It will work well. And having a Fender-ish amp in a marshall combo cab should make people give lots of weird looks when they first hear it especially if I can get some nice lush deep reverb out of it. Ok, maybe I'm just warped, but I think it will be fun. Matt |
